Build/Release Engineer

Vancouver, BC, Canada (Remote Possible)
Job Type: Full-Time

Your primary duties would be: tracking and helping fix broken builds, troubleshooting automation failures and providing long-term fixes, and designing and implementing always better automation of build & release processes.

Required experience:

  • build/release automation using shell/scripting tools, including continuous integration systems 
  • familiarity with the build stacks of all 3 major Mozilla  platforms:  Linux, Mac, Windows- working in a highly collaborative environment like an open source project

Front-End Developer

Job Type: Full-Time

Mozilla Messaging is looking for a skilled front-end developer. Developers willing to work on-site at its office located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada strongly preferred. Work will initially be entirely Thunderbird-focused but may also include other messaging front-end work over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and documentation of new/existing front-end functionality in the core or as extensions
  • Development/refactoring/documenting of automated tests and testing frameworks
  • Reviewing the code of other developers and providing feedback
  • The triage, investigation, and fixing of bugs
  • Developing/improving tooling where needed.

Office Manager

Vancouver, BC, Canada
Job Type: Full-Time

We're looking looking for a dynamic office manager to join our Vancouver office.

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience, a general understanding of life in a small software shop and a cheerful demeanor.

Working from our new office in the Flack block (Cambie & Hastings), you'll be responsible for keeping the office running. Duties will vary, but include:

  • manage shipping & deliveries
  • coordinate onsite interviews
  • minor filing & office paperwork, occasional faxes, mailings
  • ensure office supplies are on hand (printer ink, coffee, milk, etc.)
  • greeting visitors, answering random incoming calls
  • ordering food for lunches as well as meetings, special occasions
  • use web and desktop applications such as Egencia accounts, calendaring software, spreadsheets, etc.
  • coordinate with landlord and building manager
  • occasional purchasing trips to ikea, grocery store, etc.
  • coordinating events
  • help keep the office clean
  • help decorating the current office
  • help us find the next office when we outgrow this one.
